Whiskey sour

One of Jarrod’s favourite drinks is whiskey and he enjoys a whiskey sour.

Starward whiskey is a whiskey made in Melbourne, Victoria. The Two-Fold is made in wine barrels sourced from Australian wineries. The lightly charred or steamed barrels are often still wet with wine when filled with the whiskey (either Shiraz, Cabernets and Pinot noirs). This makes for a smooth drop with faint undertones of fruit.

It’s a favourite in this house. It’s a perfect drink to share with friends over dinner.

2 parts whiskey

1 part lemon Juice

Splash of water

Pinch of sugar

1 maraschino Cherry or Slice of Lemon to garnish

 

Place the ingredients in a rocks glass filled with ice, stir, garnish and enjoy.
